CANCELLATIONS:

Life happens. The car won't start, you awoke with a rumbling tummy or blinding headache. I know that you will ring me or message to notify me that you are unable to attend your appointment or that you are delayed. I am grateful for this as it allows me to adjust the treatment time or give your appointment to someone else. Naturally I will automatically re-schedule you back in. ( please do not email me as I don’t have access to these when I am in the cabin) Message Melita on 07478 615497 with as much notice as possible please.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do need to cancel at very short notice. I like to think you’ll book back in to cover the missed slot. If for whatever reason you do not book another slot and commit to it, then sadly I do now charge a fee. This is because I will have turned potential clients away to accommodate your appointment and cannot afford to absorb this loss as I am a solo independent business.

TERMS IF YOU SAY YOU ARE BOOKING ANOTHER SLOT & NOT COMMITTING TO IT. THIS IS TO COVER YOUR MISSED APPOINTMENT:

48 HOURS notice 50% of your treatment cost will be invoiced.

24 HOURS notice or on the actual day of your appointment. 100% of the treatment cost will be invoiced.

VOUCHERS- Gifted vouchers have a 3 month expiry date upon issue. I try to honour them if booking outside of the 3 month period by a month. Equally if you are booking a voucher appointment. The same terms apply that if you cancel your appointment and don’t re-book then your voucher will become void.

 

LATE ARRIVAL: If for whatever reason you are late for your appointment. I will need to begin your session straight away but may not be able to complete the full duration as this has a knock on effect for my other appointments. I do hope you understand.

WHAT IF I AM FEELING UNWELL? IMPORTANT!

If at any point you experience a high temperature, aches/chills, are sneezing & coughing a lot, have a sore throat or become sick. Please let me know straight away, even if it is on the day of your appointment, and I will re-schedule your appointment. ( see note above about cancellations) I do not get sick pay and am quite vulnerable myself in terms of immunity health, so would be very grateful if you remained at home. Equally if your body is fighting a virus, it will not be helped by receiving a massage or other treatment.

REFUNDS:

I do not offer refunds. However I make very effort to ensure that any appointment that is cancelled gets re-scheduled to an alternative slot as soon as possible.

Equally if I fall ill or am not well enough to carry out a treatment. I will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and will re-schedule your appointment.

PAYMENT:

With regard to payment I accept most cards via a contactless payment system, or I can send an invoice if you have voucher scheme at your place of work. Payment is required in full after your session or if you are doing a block booking in advance these need to be paid in full. Equally any invoices, or gift vouchers, all require payment at the time of request. Currently I do not ask for deposits for new clients. As I like to work on mutual trust and good faith.

CONSULTATION & COVID FORMS:

Before each treatment you will need to fill out an online consultation form as this helps me get an overview of your general health and can adapt your treatment accordingly. If contacting your GP is deemed necessary for further advice before proceeding then this will be carried out in full consultation with you and with your consent. I no longer send separate covid forms but there is a small section incorporated within the consultation form. Marketing is optional but a useful way to keep up to date with what I offer at Meadowsweet Wellbeing. You are able to unsubscribe at anytime.

PRIVACY & DATA:

I do offer a sign up to my newsletter here on my website and on the consultation form there are options for marketing. It can be a useful way to receive exclusive and up to date information. This is via flodesk who are world renowned for their competence and security in holding data. You always have the option to unsubscribe at any time. I do not share your information with anyone else unless a GP needs to be contacted for your health and safety and this is always done with full transparency and consent from you before proceeding.

Clients consultation details are kept online at iPEGS and I use Fresha to record appointments and notes. They do not get shared with third parties or anyone but myself. I respect that you are offering me information about your health & lifestyle so that I can best treat your needs to gain optimum wellbeing benefits and take what you share with me in utmost confidence.
